Roof renovation

Last week, at the „Alarm Clock" Clinic for children in Warsaw, renovation of the roof began.
We hope that the changeable weather will not thwart our plans and that the clinic will have a new, safe roof before the end of this year.

Maja is home

A month ago, Maja left the „Alarm Clock" Clinic for children in Warsaw. She came back with Dad, from the clinic, to Mum and siblings - twins.
Maja's parents talk about separation, the power of being siblings and the happiness of being together.
As Mrs Paulina says, "(...) We know that she is with us (...)"
Miracles in the clinic are not always a return to what was before the accident, but a miracle of life!

„Alarm Clock” Clinic for children

The director of the facility - Maciej Piróg talks about the current situation in the clinic.
In the last two months, five children have left the clinic. Two will be admitted.
At the same time, renovation of the clinic's roof begins, of course, without any interference from the inside.
There is already a Christmas tree in the hall of the clinic. As the Director says: “(...) We want, despite the ongoing epidemic, to somehow indicate that it is Christmas. (...) „

Zuzia

Last Friday, another recovered patient left the „Alarm Clock” Clinic- Zuzia!
As she herself mentions „(…) I will be home soon and finally introduce my rules! (…)”.
She told us about the power of hugging, the lack of sadness, and appealed to the other children not to hang around with any exercises! Take a look…

And on December 7th 2012 the construction of the „Alarm Clock” Clinic for children in Warsaw has been completed.

St. Nicholas’ Day

St. Nicholas has not forgotten about us either. Our pupils from the "Alarm Clock" Clinic for children in Warsaw received books, audiobooks and antibacterial cosmetics.
We would like to thank Mrs. Monika Kubiak, the author of "Bajleczki Pana Guzika" and the Oceanic company for donating antibacterial gels and creams (so needed now).

Mikołaj leaves the „Alarm Clock” Clinic

His laughter was heard all over the Clinic!
Today, 7-year-old Mikołaj goes home, but he still requires intensive rehabilitation.
He stayed at the clinic for 15 months and, as his father says, "(...) We have something to move further into the world (...)".
We keep our fingers crossed for Mikołaj and his family!
And whoever can help them, don't hesitate to do it!

Vision therapy

„Magical activities”, which are supposed to make the children want to come back.

With our camera, we participated in vision therapy classes for children at the "Alarm Clock" Clinic.
We managed to do it at the last minute, before introducing restrictions and completely closing the facility again to outsiders.
Joanna Celmer - Domańska tells about what she does to help our patients, about the possibility of developing visual functions and the use of teamwork (of all therapists from the Clinic).

Thank you!
