Guardian angel
Last week, Mariia and her mother returned from the „Alarm Clock" Clinic for children in Warsaw to their temporary home.
They were fleeing from the war, and fate happened to them again.
Fortunately, after a year in the Clinic, Mariia returned to us, but she needs further rehabilitation.

From Mom - "(...) We were strangers to you and you accepted us as your own. There are no words with which a mother can express gratitude for her child's health. (...)"
In the Clinic, Mariia, her mother and sister became extremely close to other families and the entire staff. During their stay, my mother and her daughter Sofiia embroidered pictures with beads in their free time.
One of them titled "Guardian Angel over Children" was embroidered by Mariia's sister with the intention of donating it to the chapel at the "Alarm Clock" Clinic for children.
The mother and daughters told us about what had happened to them over the last year.
Mariia also shared her thoughts for other sick children who still have to fight for recovery.
