Science never sleeps
On November 14th and 15th, 2024, a meeting was held at the "Alarm Clock" Clinic for Children in Warsaw, with the participation of: Prof. Dr. Armin Bolz (Germany), Prof. Arshad Majid (Great Britain), Prof. Dr. Halil Özcan (Turkey) and Selin Erdoğan Gezen (Turkey).
On the first day, we showed guests around the Clinic and shared our daily challenges in caring for children in a coma.
On the second day, a symposium was held.
Invited speakers from abroad shared with us their knowledge and experience related to the use of the tVNS device for transcutaneous stimulation of the vagus nerve.
We are in the early stages of understanding this method and its effectiveness regarding coma patients.
Step by step, we are looking for new methods of providing help.
