Birthday surprise

Although we celebrate International Firefighters' Day on May 4th, last Friday we had a joyful opportunity to meet the State Fire Service.
The Rescue and Firefighting Unit No. 15 from Warsaw came with an "unannounced" visit to a patient of the „Alarm Clock" Clinic for adults in Warsaw.
We would like to thank its representatives for their time!
That day was Piotr's 30th birthday, who was a professional firefighter himself before the accident.
Colleagues made a wonderful surprise and came to deliver the birthday cake on a lift!

Yesterday we celebrated "Coma Patient Day".
Renata and Marcin recovered from a coma in the "Alarm Clock" Clinic for adults in Warsaw after a year of stay.
They still have further, arduous rehabilitation ahead of them.
We keep our fingers crossed for you and your happiness!
They are both very happy to be back home and their loved ones.

A week ago we participated in the baptism ceremony of a little boy whose father is a patient of the „Alarm Clock" Clinic for adults in Warsaw.
The ceremony was led by Father Wojciech Drozdowicz, co-founder of the "Akogo?" Foundation.

Science does not sleep

The next edition of the „We bring back to life” spring campaign has started. The author of our new graphic for the slogan "Science does not sleep" is Mr. Andrzej Pągowski.
Every year as part of the campaign entitled "We bring back to life" we plan increased activity in:
March 20th (March 22nd - International Coma Day/World Coma Day) - April 20th, 2024 (April 18th - Coma Patient Day celebrated in Poland).
We are planning a number of events that will present our activities and help raise funds to implement further challenges, this time mainly scientific ones.

Awakened

Today, the first  patient leaves the "Alarm Clock" Clinic for adults in Warsaw.
During rehabilitation classes (in the last week of his stay at the Clinic), we found out what he misses the most and what the most important challenge awaits him in the upcoming time.
