Concert as a gift

Last week, at the "Alarm Clock" Clinic for children, there was a concert of the "Karakal" band, followed by representatives of the "Akogo?" Foundation. they gave gifts from Santa Claus for the children under their care.
Karakal is a seven-piece, international band that enjoys exchanging energy together and celebrates the opportunity to take listeners on an adventurous odyssey. The band's soundscape is woven with cultural influences from Persia, Syria, India, Berbers, Anatolia and the Balkans. The singer and songwriter is Ayşe Abacı from Turkey. The band's musical director, Wit Gudowski, specializes in the Middle Eastern lute - oud. The band also uses the sound of such oriental instruments as the saz, i.e. the Turkish lute (Adam Winiarz) or the Indian violin - esraj (Tomasz Świstowski - a rehabilitator who cooperates with the Clinic on a daily basis). The rhythm and depth of the band are driven by Ramzi Attia (darbuka), Cyryl Skiba (drums/percussion) and David Condis (fretless bass). According to the phrase "unity through diversity", they break all barriers, uniting cultures into one amazing journey.
Thank you for a magical performance that took us to a different reality.
