Good news from the „Alarm Clock” Clinic for children in Warsaw
Daria is a 17-year-old girl who was hit by a crosswalk on January 2nd, 2024, just outside her house. Unconscious, she was taken to hospital where doctors fought for her life for almost a month. Unfortunately, the brain injury was so serious that she fell into a coma.
On February 6th, 2024, Daria was transported to the „Alarm Clock" Clinic, where she was cared for by a team of professionals able to reach people in a state of minimal consciousness.
Each day presented new challenges for Daria, but it also brought small successes thanks to which on July 11th, 2024, Daria was recognized as recovered.
„Alarm Clock” Clinic and its team have once again proven that, thanks to commitment and kindness, they can achieve seemingly impossible things.
Although Daria still requires rehabilitation, she is gaining strength every day and making great progress towards independence. She is an example that it is worth believing and fighting until the very end!
