C-Eye
New medical equipment has recently arrived at the „Alarm Clock" Clinic for children in Warsaw. "C-Eye", called Cyber-eye, is a modern Polish device that operates on the principle of interaction with the patient, i.e. using the technique of tracking and recording eye movements. As the patient acquires the ability to control eye movement, he or she can select elements (images, letters) on the monitor screen. C-Eye is used for diagnosis and therapy of cognitive functions, assessment of patient's consciousness, in neurorehabilitation, psychological therapy, vision therapy and serves as a communication support tool. Children and adolescents willingly work on the device because thanks to the database of tasks, games, internet panel, access to social networking sites and music, the content can be tailored to the patient's interests, which motivates him to work. The Cyber-eye gives him the opportunity to convey some information to the surroundings when the patient is unable to speak or move. At the „Alarm Clock" Clinic, psychologists and a vision therapist work on the device.
