Paweł, a doctor and heart surgeon, suffered a drowning accident 10 years ago. Thanks to Teresa's persistence (cardioanaesthesiologist) and hard work, Paweł recovered from the coma.
He has full mental faculties, but is blind and uses a wheelchair, which requires constant care.
In August this year Teresa, Paweł's guardian, had an accident herself (broken limbs).
Due to Paweł's condition, the only solution is for both of them to stay in a rehabilitation center, where Teresa hopes to get back on her feet and Paweł will be able to continue therapy.
Paweł and Teresa have been accompanying us for years. They hosted our events and openings, among others. „Alarm Clock" Clinic for adults in Warsaw.
Paweł was the hero of one of the episodes of the documentary series entitled "Awakened”.
