On December 8 and 9, 2017, two-day medical conference devoted to stem cells took place in Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw. The program of the conference was fully implemented and completed and the international cooperation on the development of stem cells has been established. It is also planned to start the experimental research program. According to the statute of the organization, the conference aimed to answer the question concerning the most modern methods of treating neurodegenerative diseases including coma (particularly with the use of stem cells).

The International Scientific Conference titled “The Newest Achievements in Diagnostics and Treatment of Coma,” was attended by many great lecturers among whom were professors from Japan, Germany, Belgium and Poland. It was organized by “Akogo?” Foundation on November 21, 2015 in Radisson Blu Sobieski Hotel. The conference was hosted by Iwona Schymalla and the amount of participants was over 400.
Prof. Wojciech Maksymowicz from USK in Olsztyn opened the conference with the lecture concerning the sense of multimodal support in recovering consciousness and possibilities of helping people in coma.
Mrs. Anna Duszyk presented the lecture by Prof. Steven Laureys (Cyclotron Research Centre and Neurology Department of the University Hospital of Liège, Belgium), which concerned works on the newest diagnostic methods among people with impaired consciousness.
