Coma Patient Day

A Polish holiday passed by the Polish Parliament on 23rd November 2012, which was sought by the “Akogo?” Foundation. The date was set for 18th April.
The aim of the celebrations is to draw attention to the situation of such patients and to understand their problems.
On this special day, let us share the prayer that has supported us for years at the “Alarm Clock” Clinic for children and the document “In the name of the patient”, which hangs by the bed of every patient of our “Alarm Clock” Clinic for adults in Warsaw.

Last weekend, the Pruszkowianka Brass Band came to the "Alarm Clock"  Clinic for children.
Thanks to the favorable spring weather, the concert could be held outside the Clinic.
The sounds of music also spread to other wards.

Welcoming spring

Last week, at the "Alarm Clock" Clinic for children in Warsaw, we welcomed spring together with Łukasz Zagrobelny.
The acoustic performance with piano accompaniment touched us all deeply.
After the concert, there was time for autographs, group photos and getting to know each other better.
Thank you very much for the spring musical breeze and the nice afternoon!

Sound therapy

Last weekend, at the „Alarm Clock" Clinic for children, workshops were held, which were used by the caretakers of our patients.
Sound classes were met with great interest and were a nice break from everyday hardships.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish all the best to all Grandmas and Grandpas!
Their support, even in the Clinic, is invaluable.

Culinary workshops

In the last week of November, Jakub Kuroń and his mother Joanna came to the „Alarm Clock" Clinic for children in Warsaw.
The Kuroniówka Foundation specializes in helping people in need. They support by cooking.
Thank you very much for allowing us to host you for the second time and take a break from our everyday lives!
Together with our patients and their families, they prepared delicious lazy dumplings with additions: fruit, strawberry sauce, cream with vanilla and, traditionally, breadcrumbs.
No one was lazy and we ate 300 noodles at the end of the workshop :)

Thank you!

The „Alarm Clock" Clinic for children in Warsaw often confronts seemingly unsolvable medical problems.
The director of the facility, Mr. Maciej Piróg, shared his experiences with us and talked about one special case.
One of the last patients recovered in the Clinic, as a result of a traffic accident, also had a complicated jaw fracture.
Thanks to the consultation and help of the wonderful doctor Mr. Paweł Grab, the procedure was performed at the Oral Surgery Clinic in the hospital in Szaserów Street.
